Introducing the 2010 Crystal
Achievement Award winners
By Jenni Chase, Sahely Mukerji and Katy Devlin
Now in its fifth year, Glass Magazine’s Crystal Achievement Awards pro- gram strives to recognize the best products and glass
applications the industry has to offer.
From the sweeping glass curtain wall of
Two Alliance Center to the sleek design
of the PurfectKurv bath enclosure, this
year’s winners do not disappoint.
The editors received more than 180
nominations from companies representing the commercial, retail and fabrication markets this year. New categories
for 2010 included: Most innovative
solar glass product, Most innovative
solar glass project, Most innovative
interior glass product, Most innovative interior glass project, and Most
innovative commercial retrofit project.
Special thanks go to the 28 judges on
the opposite page for the time and effort
they put into the selection process.
To determine the winners, the Glass
Magazine staff compiled a packet of
nominee information and photographs
for each judge. The judges then selected
a winner in each category; they were not
allowed to vote in categories in which
their company had been nominated.
Please send new category sugges-
tions for the 2011 Crystal Achievement
Awards program to Jenni Chase, editor,
