Imagine, create,

Praise for the 2010 Crystal Achieve- ment Award winners poured in from the judges this year, as the
industry continued to impress with
new and exciting glass designs, projects,
equipment and products, and creative
ways of promoting them. “It is wonderful to read of the unique designs and
products in the market,” said Judge
Charlotte Broussard, owner and CEO,
Universal Window and Door LLC,
Marlborough, Mass. There are so many
innovative and creative things going on
in our industry, added Judge Tammy
Schroeder, senior marketing specialist,
Linetec, Wausau, Wis.
And so it is with great pleasure that
I introduce this year’s group of winners on Page 12. From decorative glass
products and applications that dazzle,
to buildings that push the envelope in
terms of design and functionality, to
an ad campaign that tickles the funny
bone, the Crystal Achievement Award
winners serve as a reminder of our
industry’s ingenuity and vast potential.
“Looking at all of the projects shows
that there are many things we should
all be thankful for,” said Judge Phil
Moreland, project manager, ASHE
Glass & Mirror, Tampa.
My thanks go out those who sub-
mitted the more than 180 nomina-
tions we received this year and to our
great panel of judges (See Page 13).
In this issue, we focus on the winners
in each category, but we will continue to
highlight the runners-up in future issues
of the magazine and on GlassMagazine.

who won’t be traveling to Las Vegas this
fall, please keep the emails coming!
